Prosecutors have charged the office owner, David Hanson, with multiple counts of child pornography and unauthorized recording of a victim under the age of 18 years old. According to prosecutors, an investigation found Hanson videotaped more than 180 patients as they undressed or unclothed using hidden cameras secretly placed throughout his chiropractic office – including a treatment room used for red light or near-infrared light therapy. Authorities say the recordings were taken without patients’ knowledge or consent, violating the trust that patients place in their healthcare providers.
